The First International Conference on Sustainable Development Studies (ICSDS) 2026 is a premier global platform dedicated to strengthening climate resilience, disaster preparedness, and sustainable innovation. Bringing together academics, policymakers, and industry leaders, the conference fosters interdisciplinary dialogue to develop actionable solutions for a safer, more sustainable future. Join us as we bridge the gap between research and practice to empower communities and drive national and global transformation.
The conference focuses on critical thematic areas such as climate change adaptation and mitigation, disaster management and environmental sustainability, water and food security, circular economy pathways, resilient infrastructure, digital tools for early warning and disaster response, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable governance systems.
By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and international cooperation especially with research partners from China, Korea, and other countries the conference seeks to create a robust ecosystem for innovation and policy transformation.
ICSDS 2026 is not only an academic gathering; it is a national call to action designed to empower Sri Lanka’s institutions, industries, and communities with the knowledge and partnerships required to navigate the escalating climate and disaster landscape.
